Here are the aspirational servitors, virtue champion spirits, energies of awareness, and shadows that fill the pages of the Ready Aspirant Grimoire. While the entire grimoire is intended as a complete document and daily practice, as a Chaos Magickian it’s essential my technique can be taken apart and rebuilt as you see fit! So fuck around with any or all of these and find out if they work for you! For results magick, I like to round up several of these into a working and see how they get along together to help me get the thing I’m after!
Some of these are thought forms of my creation, others are spirits I’ve encountered in my own journey who aligned with me around the stated virtues, some are archtypal shadows an aspiring magickian seeking Justification / self-integration/doing The Great Work may face within themselves, and others are the energies of human awareness which I see through I Ching trigrams or the Colors of Chaos.
Each will has a sigil or image and a poetic spell. The poetic spell is meant to be recited in order to charge them, as offering, and to align your mind with the entity. I worked with Craiyon to polish the sigils except for the Ideal Self sigil which was generated with Trinary and create all of the images.
Energies of Awareness
In the Ready Aspirant Grimoire, these are the eight realms. Each has a color and represents how a human experiences the world. This is an ancient concept that has been expressed in the classic astrological planets (plus Uranus) and in the trigrams of the I Ching, Book of Changes, a sacred Chinese text.
Ideal Realm (Octarine)
Heroes of myth, gods, angels, saints, and naked virtues are here.
The palace of perfection, a stasis where disorder cannot prevail.
This is the sacred cradle of values.
Living my cherished values connects me and Ideal.
Manifest life done well has the Realm of Ideals in its sights.
Inner Realm (Orange)
My radiance shines as I enact my values in life.
My power, my joy, and my presence emit from within.
The brilliance of discernment melts delusional motives.
To live in my power, I need only let this inner beauty shine.
May my joy and virtues power the solar system in my life!
Outer Realm (Purple)
I know others are as real as I am, but its easier to see my own reflections.
That lonely shadow within is casting giants on the world’s walls.
I must give those shades compassion if I’m to care for myself.
Others can serve as double-timers, living theirs and revealing bits of mine.
A pareidolia of my world reveals my inner realm.
Passion Realm (Red)
My heart is guide in Passion’s realm.
A project, The Great Work, calls.
Muse runs from heart through mind, I strategize.
Hot, brave, and bold!
Through desire and effort, my bright future unfolds.
Mind Realm (Yellow)
I need my sword, discernment, now more than ever.
Our wealth of knowledge hides among trash and delusion.
I honor the old victories, not with dogma, but in spirit of exploration.
My words, my symbols, my patterns help me cocreate my reality.
Curating my Inner Library also cultivates Outer Prosperity.
Intuition Realm (Blue)
Adrift upon a realm of rolling emotion.
An oceanic abundance, ever expanding fortune.
A chaotic swirl of connection and relation.
Alive, teeming. Magick flows into awareness.
A community carved into a beachside cliff.
Body Realm (Green)
Taproot pressing deep.
Pulling grounding strength to the surface.
Nourishing a beautiful glade with the spoils of its toil.
My body is pulsing in rhythm and sensual connection.
Dancing in delightful union with roots, claws, stones, and shells.
Examples Realm (Black)
She was once flesh and blood, and today lives as hero in legend.
Her contribution made society a more loving and safe place.
He solved a problem others were too delusional to face.
His sacrifice made space for future innovations.
I honor my examples, my sacred kin, for showing me how to thrive.
Virtue Champions
In my spiritual journey and explorations, I’ve encountered nonphysical intelligences I’ve contextualized as gods, genius loci (land spirits), ghosts, and egregores. Here are some who are happy to simply be identified with the virtues they and I both hold dear. For those who are nervous about spirit contact, this is a very healthy and safe place to start. So long as this is a virtue you wish to strengthen in your life.
Working Toward Ideal Self
I am an aspirant, ready to snatch the reigns of my life away, to write my own destiny.

Crack up that cranky coot, Assumption.
Underneath is my guide beyond the veil, Curiosity.
Breathe courage into Curiosity’s tentative nudge, run!
Revel in the arcane awareness.

Physically aware and present
I breathe in deep, rooting heaven’s swirl to puffed chest.

Mind Realm Servitor
At first it’s all so shiny!

Your intuition knows the difference.
I embolden you to hear and act.

Inspiration rolls in on the waves.
My senses primed, my inner ears poised.

It goes unseen and unheard by most,

Mother Earth softens Ego’s brittle egg.
I emerge and thrill at her touch, and at each encounter with other living things.
Mother’s ever sleeping, but our joyous play is her sweet dream.
To show my love, I learn to see all my living siblings.

Shadows
Our shadows are parts of ourselves we hide, repress, or deny. If you have ever reflected on something you did that just didn’t feel like it was ‘you’ that is one of your shadows running on an old program. If you identify with these shadows, their poetic spells are designed to redirect their efforts into more productive areas that are more in line with an adult on a spiritual journey.
Ideal Realm Shadow
As I pull myself out of habits which paid in despair, I see that fault in others.
Enshrouded now in sacred truth, I wonder if I’m above it all…
Give me balance. I belong here, entwined in spirit and mundane. If I’m enlightened, may my actions inspire!
Inner Realm Shadow
Sometimes this shadow presents only what others want.
Other times, a group’s esteem has hardened insight into a mentally flaccid Idol.
Never settle for outside approval when inner truth is what truly nourishes.
Outer Realm Shadow
Science is a tool so useful, it can fool us into seeing only our material world.
Divination, a materialist antidote, can weaken and paralyze the mind when overdone.
Give me compassion for mystery and confusion, let me love beyond what I can master!
Passion Realm Shadow
I know my Ideal Self is a wall built one brick at a time, but its tempting to dive deep into making bricks and even pulverizing stone first.
I need a daily practice for wellness, but if unchecked, it can become a whole day.
I strike a balance! My wall rings the whole self, and I build toward union!
Mind Realm Shadow
Buried in the data, charts, research, speculation, theories, and fear of fallibility!
Ever second guessing and fretting…
Or bolstered by former success and comfortable in reputation.
The know-it-all who learns not-at-all!
Balance! Instead, we speculate once and then follow the plan to action!
Intuition Realm Shadow
Yearning for the unseen, to prove the Mystery.
Desperate companions with lofty promises lead to deep delusion.
Worse yet, some deep moments in High Strangeness have emboldened!
Eager to share and feast on others’ esteem puts the brakes on my spiritual path.
Let’s co-learn instead, I learn from everyone on both sides of reality’s veil!
Body Realm Shadow
Living in my head, like I’m just floating eyeballs.
Starved from the present moment, craving overindulgence, a false balance.
Or robbing responsibilities on behalf of wellness, recovery, or rest.
Unaccountable for how and when to rebound… it’s no way to live.
Instead I cultivate a fair balance between my head and body!

Their failures are urges to seek, alone and uninformed.
Or old traditions have led to heights unmatched in your forays to date.
