As the project progresses, the Order of Book Builders is accumulating some fun techniques to try! Here are .pdf files and .mp3 guided meditations to experiment with.
I Ching Divination and Pathworking – The I Ching was designed as an Oracle. There are several methods of arriving at your hexagram and changing lines. I use and show the coin toss method. What may be unique to my instruction is pathworking the hexagrams! Essentially, it’s a method of study and meditation designed to train your Psyche to become the Oracle by associating each pattern with your life.
Sigil Magick for All Thinkers– Sigils are a foundational Chaos Magick technique. With the help of a small group, I expanded on the concept to include methods of sigilizing your intent for thinkers to approach the work visually, in writing, emotionally, or through technology!
Inner Hall of Eris- This guided meditation leads you through the shared astral (imaginal) space of the Order of Book Builders. Just record yourself reading through the meditation, then go back and listen to it later in a comfortable place with your eyes closed. Follow along in your mind! As a stand alone exercise, its a great way to safely practice your imaginal exploration abilities and your eight modes of awareness. If you are unfamiliar with this type of practice, read my article on the Imagination Zone first.
Meet the Spirit of the Forest- After learning a bit about yourself in the exercise above, check out this one on a day when the weather is lovely! Here is my recording if you don’t wish to read and record one for yourself!
Anchoring Elemental Energy – In this exercise, we begin moving the eight energies of awareness through ourselves and the physical space we occupy. It is a great technique to approach energy work with and an excellent way to energetically share the spirit of renewal with a body of land.
Project Lovebug– If you don’t know how to get into gnosis (a light trance state) and are comfortable trying rigorous breathwork, this is a fun guided meditation I created based on a vision I had which I later discovered is Indra’s Web. It’s an audio recording. Get someplace comfortable in a reclined seat or laying down to try it.
